VW is seriously considering to go into production lines from Bulli MPV concept that was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 exhibition. At that time, Bulli is still a study of modern and environmentally friendly vehicle to replace the icon in the era of combi-1960s.

VW Bulli desire to produce because of the positive reaction from the community. Plus, competition is very fierce at this time, making the manufacturer based in Wolfsburg samangat to produce it. If this project gets green light Bulli, he will be manufactured at VW's Puebla plant in Mexico along with new Bettle.

The choice of Puebla is quite reasonable. Because, the majority of Bulli production will be directed to the American market, where the type of van is very popular.

While the concept of Bulli is a small MPV with five passengers who have dimensions of length 3.99 m, width 1.70 m and a wheelbase of 2.62 m. While in Geneva, Bulli as environmentally friendly cars that are driven by electric motors powered by 114HP 270Nm of torque. Power source is supplied from lithium-ion battery and charging 40 Kw less than an hour.

The longest distance traveled 300 miles in a battery is fully charged. Acceleration from 0-100 km per hour achieved 11.5 seconds and a top speed of 140 km / h).

"Companies Bulli positive about the production. We do not have room for another MPV. But, as a designer, I am sure with this idea," says VW Group design chief Walter da Silva VW to Autocar magazine.
