EX1 Peugeot concept car managed to break the lap record at Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit for an electric car.

The car was driven by the Stephane Caillet, drivers and technicians at the Center for Research and Development across the Peugeot with the circuit 13 miles (21 km) in nine minutes, 1338 seconds.

This is equivalent to an average speed of 86mph and almost beat the previous record in 2010 by the MINI E with a time of 9:51:45.
